Survey maps and legal descriptions are important papers to current and future owners of the property. 
They should be preserved and kept in a safe place. 

Survey pins or markers are set with care and should not be disturbed or removed.    

        Do:  place stones around them or set wood stakes next to them for easy identification.

        Don’t:  replace with another type of marker
